I'm sorry

by Switchblade89   Dec 5, 2005

She told me she loved me,
and I told her how I felt,
I said "I love you too"
hoping her heart would melt,

I promised her so much,
and being faithful I swore,
I broke all my promises,
and I hurt the one I adore,

She gave me a second chance,
and like a fool, I did it again,
and after awhile of not speaking,
I guess she had made amends,

She spoke again, but not as much,
I guess my lies made her heart sore,
and now I know the truth,
words alone can mean so much more,

I'm sorry....
