Do people say what they really mean?

When you say i love you,
do you believe it,
i won't,
why say something you say you mean and then eventually don't.

when you say I'm sorry,
my ears and eyes are being deceived,
for you will keep saying sorry till i decide to leave.

when you say tomorrow,
i sit back and laugh,
because no one can have tomorrow in their grasp.

if you mean what you say,
then why do i feel this way,
when we both know you won't,
because why say something you mean then eventually you don't.
