Light at the End of the Tunnel

by Amanda   Dec 6, 2005

A boy today, I met him so.
Making babies out of snow.
Crab apple eyes, stick arms, rock buttons.
Cutest snowman boy and girl ever made.

This boy today, I like him much.
I'd like him to be my emotional crutch.
There for me, and I for him, for always.
Why, I wonder had our meeting been delayed?

But only 'til now, for today we've just met.
Someday again we'll spend time together, I bet.
I hope I don't screw up. My cards, I must play right.
This time I won't blow it, I'll keep firm hold of my skeletons-
At least for tonight.
