Betrayed

by Sherry Lynn   Dec 6, 2005

Betrayed

Two sisters you see
Both without a home
I opened my door
Gave them both
Free room and board

Opening my heart
Was the worst I could do
I trusted them both
And they betrayed me
It’s true

Told lies about us
My brother and me
Tried to pit us
Against each other
Reason’s unseen

When that little task failed
They took it to new heights
Started talking shit about us
To everyone in sight

Stabbed in the back
That is what we got
Both used and abused
Just for having
A kind heart

I hope they’re both happy
And I wish them well
But most of all
I hope they both
Rot in hell
