Today's the anniversary I'll never forget.
Will you remember? I wouldn't place a bet.
It's marked on my calendar by, of all people, you.
So recently, though, you left. You made a huge move.

That was one of my most joyous days.
That was when our relationship really began.
We had the same goals--to get to that place.
Now, you've decided something else for yourself. You turned around and ran.

Oh, well. You become everything I've sworn to hate.
Having you here forever would be against fate.
I could see this ending coming for way too long.
Saying something to you just felt so wrong.

This is extremely hard for me to write.
When we pass each other, we use our eyes to fight.
No one can win, because this situation is lose-lose.
It's difficult to accept that this is over, but that was for you to choose.

    I can see how this was one of your most painful poems my faviort line was "no one can win, beacuse this situation is a lose-lose" so true (I will be here till the end of next week then I gone for awhile) -with all my love

    I like this poem not only cause it relates to soo many situations in life but it speaks for not only yourself but for other people. I like a poem everyone can relate to... I hope you and the person in the poem end up working it out.. they wood of had to of been pretty special to hav a poem written about them
