My Promise

Holding your hand and the touch of your skin
Shutting my eyes and just breathing you in
I've waited so long for our souls to touch
My heart is yours, how I love you so much

The scars of our life don't need to be told
As long as you're here for me to hold
I give you my life and all that I am
My dreams and my love and by you I will stand

You've given me hope, you've given me love
Like an angel from God sent from above
I give you my promise and give you my life
I long for the day I make you my wife

Our love will grow strong, our love will endure
Our love is holy, forever and pure
I cherish your love, I cherish your soul
Baby I love you, you make me whole
