Under The Stars

by Samantha   Dec 11, 2005

It was the beginning of March
Fallen snow laid upon the ground,
It was just you and I together
Neither of us made a sound.

The night sky was ever so peaceful
As it sometimes tends to be,
The stars we shinning brightly
Because you were there with me.

The moonlight that lit up the dark
Had cast a milky glow,
No one else was around
So we cuddled in the snow.

We stayed there for hours
With no sense of time,
Looking up at the glowing stars
Falling in love our only crime.

And then you kissed me
Oh so sweet right upon the lips,
And as we walked back to the house
Your hands were on my hips.

You made my first love so special
In a way oh so clever,
But do not worry baby
I'll cherish it forever.

What a beautiful poem this is, hun... I love every single word of it. It flowed well, and the rhyming pattern was great too. Also, I love how you expressed little details, like the moonlight and the snow. Great job hunni =)
