My Dream

by Dean Russell-Rands   Dec 11, 2005

Inspired by hope but challenged by fright
Determined by dreams of the opening night
My aim is the stage, my goal is the stars
I'll win the battle to be left with scars
But I don't care what it takes
I still keep going if my heart breakes
I'll fight and wrestle until I've won
Until my dream is here and done

I want to sing, dance and act
It's not a dream anymore - it's a fact
I'm already somewhat there
So now I'm fighting and daring to dare
I'll never give-up I'll never back down
Not until I'm greatly renown
I don't want the press or the fame
But like it or not - it's part of the game

Your poems are so good. They are so short though. I wish they could be longer.
This is a real great poem, keep to your wishes and always try your hardest, I can tell you, that way you will always win in a way.
