Quiet Girl

Quiet Girl

She walks alone, and dares not speak
For her family forbids those secrets she keeps
Ignored by society left feeling empty at the bottom of the sea
She prays to god as she hits her knees! Oh Quiet girl release your sorrows
Never forget the sunrise of tomorrow
He will shine down on your face so quiet girl leave that cold and empty space

She speaks no longer for she is to ashamed
That her mother was the one to blame
The bruises show in her daughters picture frame
Quite girl be silent no longer make her see
That she still belongs! So quite girl
Help stop your father!

(Chorus)

Sometimes life is out of reach and its far too
Late for your soul to speak but in gods eyes theres always a miracle
So quiet girl tell your father theres no need for the pain!
Torn and broken she cries at night as her father begins to fight
She can hear her mother shout this is not what marriage is supposed to be about!
Sooooooooo girl hit your knees beg for his help make him
See that your father needs guidance to, so quite girl help your mother pull
Through!

He drinks the last bottle and walks out that door
He left a note saying hes no more! For his love cant be shined,
If he cant put down the wine, quiet girl chase him down let him
Know hes the best daddy round dont let him leave
For everyone deserves a second chance! Ohhh Yeah!!

(Chorus)

Sometimes life is out of reach and its far too
Late for your soul to speak but in gods eyes theres always a miracle
So quiet girl tell your father theres no need for the pain!
Torn and broken she cries at night as her father begins to fight
She can hear her mother shout this isnt
What marriage is supposed to be about!
Soooooooooo
Quiet girl hit your kness beg for his help make him
See that your father needs guidance to, so quite girl help your mother pull
Through!

Quiet girl smiling so bright as her father
Pushes her on the swing,
Listens to his wife as she begins to sing!
Quiet girl this is gods glory!
Cause you are triumphant in his eyes!!!!
So Quiet girl, return to your life
