Soul Deep

by Lynsey   Dec 3, 2005

Id count the moments when you said you'd be there

To lift my heart an remove my despair

All I see is an empty space

In which you laid, I remember your face

You said you would never leave me

But its far to late the heavens have claimed you

You have sealed your fate, this dull grey stone prints your name

But no matter how far, our love is the same

For as long as those stars shine I know your there

Watching over me cause I know you care

I squeeze my teddy bear tightly with a long embrace

Because I love you daddy Ill always know your face

Your with her now and Im glad your at rest

Say hello to mommy for me and lay your head on her chest

Grandmother cradles me and sings me to sleep

As she tells me the story of how your love was soul deep
