Hide and sleep

by Jo Maria   Dec 14, 2005

The pain and suffering is too much to keep
She spends her days playing hide and sleep
Her favorite place to hide is under the covers
in her dreams they are real lovers
They are together and she is just like a princess
In every dream she wears a beautiful dress
She is happy and proud surrounded by family and friends
But then she wakes up and he dream ends
Back to the reality of her solitary life
Back to her days filed with pain and strife
She does what needs to be done throughout each day
And never takes any time out for play
Because she feels that it's a waste of time
She believes that happiness will never be mine
The pain goes so deep, into the bottom of her heart
It started when her and her mother were ripped apart
People ask her to explain, to show them whats within
But she has no idea where she should begin
If she says too much, she fears she'll scare people away
So she pretends that she has nothing to say
Therefore she is hurt and uses her dreams for her glory
And that is all, thats the end of her story.
