A Fathers Prayer.

Dear God,
From one Father to another.
All I want this Christmas..
Is for me and my son to be together.

You see Lord,
We both lost our first born boy.
So I guess we have something in Common,
As you know, He was my pride and Joy.

Dear God,
All I'm asking for is one more time.
You got your son back..
Can't I have mine?

God,
Just to hold him again, Just one more time.
Or even just to hear him cry.
Maybe I could tell him Good-bye, Maybe then I'll be fine.

Dear Lord,
He would have been four in September.
My little boy was growing so fast.
Sometimes I forget he's even gone.
Sometimes I wish I didn't remember.

Dear God,
Give him a kiss and tell him Daddy loves him.
Tell him I really miss him,
But I'll see him tonight in my dreams.
