A stab in the heart as he walks by
Not seeing my thoughts running in circles around him
He inhabits my dreams, loving and kind
My true Prince charming
I walk on in silent despair
Will he ever see the truth?
My heart has no place not occupied with him
He'll say hi every once in a while
Casual friends but I wish it was more
Looking forward to the slightest chance
Of seeing him, but how often he disappoints
He unknowingly grinds my hopes into dust
I dreams up plans to make him fall in love
But I can't follow them through
Halted by worry
Fear of rejection
Fear of loss of a friendship
Why is this so hard?
