The Moment

by Void   Dec 15, 2005

A starry night glimmers and reflects in his mind
As he stares longingly into her eyes.
The moment the moon was shield from the clouds
He shields her with his heart, beating proud.
They lay in the meadow, surrounded by trees
Listening to the wind's silent symphony.
The pendulum swings, yet not a minute has passed
These angels of the night share love that lasts.
Souls entwined, completing eachother
Never to fit with any other.
Lights of the gods shone on mountain tops
As morning comes and the nights shimmer stops.
The sun brings warmth upon both lovers face
Smile take form and show happiness' grace.
Nature never witnessed such beautiful sight
And will never forget the love of that night.
