Is Someone Waiting?

* ok guys, this is one poem that I wrote out of nowhere... it has no rhyme scheme... the stanzas probably don't make sense... But it's how I feel... so read accordingly.

There are those times when I look at the image of a child next to the ashes of his mother
Screaming for help
Yet, all is silent

We walk on roads that were never built for us
Philosophers, thinkers left us their book of knowledge
But we never understood what they meant

The god that we worship and blindly believe
Was speaking words of wisdom through the messages he sent

In the morning, under the sun's rays, my mind wanders
Then the thought of happiness comes around
I find everyone in the ocean of deep depression
Then why do they pretend?

Is it only me who is searching through the deepness of life?
Am I alone in this journey?
Is it only me who is seeking happiness?
Or is there someone at the other end of the river... waiting...
