A War Nobody Can See.

by Katie.   Dec 17, 2005

We send our men off every day,
Joining a war like it's a game to play.
Nobody knows why we have this war,
Some say it's to settle a score.

But what score is there to be settled?
Maybe in this foreign country we just meddled?
Why fight for something you don't understand?
Everyone just follows the command.

Shouldn't you fight for what you believe?
Not for the tuition that you will receive?
With the feeling of self-doubt,
What is this war truely about?

Look very closely and you will see,
Nobody knows the meaning of this war but he.
He who started it all to begin with,
Now we all think it's all just a myth.

Without a reason and without a cause,
They still answer commands without a pause.
You don't even hesitate to find out,
What this war is truely about?

How can you be sticking up for your home,
When you don't understand why these places you roam?
You call the feeling country pride?
Try to put the lies aside.

Did thousands of soldiers die without a reason?
Many others call this treason.
The list continues to get longer,
How much longer until we get stronger?

How can we support a war that nobody can see?
Am I just crazy or do you agree?
I don't understand why, do you?
Or am I alone in my view?
