Too Good...

She found it funny how he searched for love,
especially when it was right in front of his face.
She never had the nerves to tell him about her feelings for him
or how she searches for him at school
and waits for his name to appear on line.
Then again,
it's always like this.
She has always fallen for the guys
she thought she couldn't have.
For the guys that are too good to be true.
She's been holding out, waiting for him,
waiting for the moment she maybe had a chance with him,
and the moment is upon her.
She freezes up.
She types in the words
"I bet someone loves you and you just don't know it."
He asks if she's talking about herself,
but she says no.
She's feeling mighty stupid right about now
and wishes that she knew what to say.
She wishes she could tell him how much she cares about him and
how if he just gave her a chance, maybe he'd find the love he's looking so hard for.
She goes to type it...
to tell him...
but she chickens out.
She can feel the tears now.
She wants to tell him so bad it hurts...
She wants to curl up in his arms...
She wants it all to go away...
If only she could tell him...
