Most terrifying moment of my life

I was in boarding school
I always tried to call my mom
Her phone was always switched off
After a week my brother came and took me out for the weekend
We were watching a movie
And he told me the horrible news
I didn't believe him it couldn't be true
The look in his eyes was serious
Nervosity and sadness made me laugh for two seconds
Then there was a knot in my throat
His words were
"Your sister has been in a coma for 2 weeks, we don't know if she is going to make it"
I looked at him, then at the floor and thoughts invaded my mind
Why her, when she is the most important person of my life
She took care of me when I was small
I loved her like my mom
The world was spinning around me
My eyes blurred
I ran to the bathroom and cried, praying for the 1st time.
