Santas disguise

by ♥*Jodie*♥   Dec 18, 2005

Santa- the kind, gentle old man!
always cheerful, always ready to give a hand.
the secretive guy that only comes out at night.
yet behind the disguise our insecurities lie.
the old man who sits in a grotto spitting out fake wishes.
Merry Christmas little one but who actually has a merry Christmas?
he is fake and we all know it, behind his beard he shows it.
making people believe in lies just to get his evil way
so people think everything will be OK.
in fact just tell them the truth- Christmas is just a normal day
but is hyped up in every way
so much stress and shopping for what?
the day is as normal as you can get
there is no Christmas blessing as shit still happens
life goes on and we are fooled every year by the same Santa
call me a Scrooge or what ever you want
but my Nana died Christmas 2003, then my mum 2004, so tell me where the blessing is in that?
Christmas is more a curse then a magical time
so face the facts, do what it takes, but most of all realize Christmas is fake!
