Last Hit

Last Hit

My back hurts worse
Since our last fight
Took a good hit from you
That Sunday night

Not the first time
Nor the last
One day though
You will not be much of a match

Learning to shoot now
The guns have a kick
It will be worth it
All in defense

Not a punching bag
Never deserved what you give
Growing stronger now
Nothing against self defense

No longer afraid
Able to withstand the pain
One day be warned
You will be beat at your own game

Not wanting to kill
Murder is not my deal
But hit me again
Your life I will end

I like that you are fighting back. Every one has to, some day.

I'd have to echo that applause. Truly a piece exuding finality and strength, both in a good way. Well done indeed.

Wow! I'm glad your not taking no crap and standing up for yourself. I know of so many women who stay in abusive relationships and some for the feeble excuse or lie of "I still love him!" and others don't have the balls to do anything. You're a strong woman, I applaud you immensely.

    keep up the good work
