Sick

My sickness courses through each vein
it labels me with a relentless shame
another night spent in anguish and pain
i realize i don't want to live this again.

I'm sick of hurting, sick of crying,
sick of reckless thoughts of dying,
sick of smiles i have to fake,
sick of the moments where i give up and break.

I'm sick of the cuts, sick of the scars,
sick of wishing on falling stars,
sick of praying, sick of dreaming,
sick of laying and silently screaming.

I'm sick of breathing, sick of blinking,
sick of these thoughts my mind is thinking,
sick of wearing bracelets and bands,
sick of this addiction which no one understands.

I'm sick of nerves, sick of dread,
sick of wishing i could be dead,
sick of falling a thousand times,
from every mountain i tried to climb.

I'm sick of this life, can't you see?
sick of being anyone but me,
sick of pretending to be alright,
I'm sick of trying to win this fight.

    I know the feeling, but if you accept that life sucks, you can at least try to make the best of it! But once again, you are so right it hurts!

    Fantastic poem, i can relate to this so much right now, but its a new year, and hopefully a new beginning now. your words are so strong, i love these lines:
    I'm sick of hurting, sick of crying,
    sick of reckless thoughts of dying,

    and

    sick of wearing bracelets and bands,
    sick of this addiction which no one understands.

    Actually i just love the whole poem. It flows beautifully, and really says exactly what i'm thinking. you definately have a talent, keep it up.
