I listen to the radio
as the rain pours down
The song I hear is my favorite
So I turn it up loud
The song speaks of true love
with pain mixed in
Sounds like my life story
All over again
The music gets louder and louder
with every beat of my heart
My breathing becomes a rhythm
and I start to sing along
My voice sounds soft and sweet
You would never know it was me
The song ends
and so does my breath
for the song I sang
