Once Upon A Time

by Void   Dec 21, 2005

Once upon a time,
In no fairy tale world,
A river was cried, by one little girl.
Her parents split up,
Mother depressed,
An older brother was soon to be put to rest.
It seemed like she had,
Nothing left to live for,
But way down the river, someone she'd adore.
They started out strangers,
Soon became friends,
A friendship they thought, would never end.
A bond that got stronger,
A need that was true,
And one day he'd ask, "Do you love me too?"
Her heartbeat got faster,
The sunlight shone bright,
But in his eyes, she saw twinkles of night.
Butterflies flew around her,
in her stomach aswell,
On her tip-toes she'd kiss him, before she would tell.
'You saved me from death,
And taught me alot,
About life and being happy, and Cupid's love shot.
With every beat of your heart,
And every breath that you steal,
Know this always: my love for you is real."
