Blind Motion

by M MEM   Dec 22, 2005

Strained to be released,
Pain consumed time,
All wasted.
Life becoming nothing.
Standing in the shadow,
The shadow becoming all you see,
All you see is black.
Gliding through the day,
Blind motion of what is happening,
Keeping it in,
So I reflect the agony,
When lying and praying,
To fall asleep,
And never get up.
Decisions made,
Three supplies needed,
Paper,
Pen,
Pills.
Slowly,
All around you that day,
I was dying.
Stomach becoming stiff,
Head getting light,
Hand shaking,
Tears rolling down onto the paper.
Words written,
One last time,
A eulogy in the pocket,
And a life at its end.
