My Friends;Im Sorry

by lonelynow   Dec 23, 2005

* This poem is about my friends, and i feel so helpless to put they're problems right. please read, and give me advice *

There's Ruth with her smile so bright
No one knows that every night
With a rusty knife and a bloody razor
Oh help me God;help me save her
Her beautiful body;envy of all
punished,starved, more than normal
And Ruth is blind to love

There's Emily who's oh so tall
And everyone knows she's done it all
Cutting, staving, she's been through a lot
Bulimia, hating everything she's got
Pressured into things with boys
Family problems; without a noise
And Emily is blind to love

There's Rebekah too, what can i say?
Everyone sees she's beautiful in every way
Diagnosed with depression;she can't help but hate
Punishing herself for everything she ate
She thinks she's fat;she thinks she knows
Despises the way her obsession grows
And Rebekah is blind to love

There's Hannah also, happiest girl in class
I'm the only one who knows about her past
Still she watches every bite
Punishes her body every night
Just in this life for the ride
At every turn she sees suicide
And Hannah is blind to love

After giving all the love i have to give
It's me who's loosing her reason to live

* All names have changed. One of these is me. Please comment, i need advice*
