Lightswitch

by Danielle   Dec 23, 2005

The light goes on,
The light goes off.
If I listen the darkness talks.
My eyes wide open, but all there is is black.
In the darkness I will crack.

The light goes on,
The light goes off.
I wish the flickering would just stop.
Laying here quietly on my bed,
Here the darkness is getting to my head.

The light goes on,
The light goes off.
Drowning me in memories that comfort me not.
Deep inside me I make a wish.
Who is in charge of the light switch?
