Blood stained diamonds

by brown eyes and a melancholy smile   Dec 24, 2005

Blood stained diamonds

Like blood stained diamonds cast their morbid beauty,
Seep of blood from scarred skin,
Some how seems to sooth me.
Scream tears of confusion inside my head,
Tears have run dry, so I bleed tears instead.

Like the fallen angel, risen once more,
Still I am broken, although I washed to shore.
Screaming silent sobs in the dark,
While emptiness smothers my heavy heart.

Spilt blood on white sheets,
In my head my flaws repeat,
Clear diamonds soaked in blood,
Sleeping demons rise from the dark.

Drift into slumber, rage repaired,
Retreat to misery's open snare,
Blood rusted on violated wrists,
Dream of Death, and pray he's swift.

Damn! I really don't know what to say! This is beyond words! It's one of the best poems I've read in quite a while! The ending really packs a punch, amazing! Oh and I also really like the second stanza!

*Mouth drops open* Its fantastic, your poems have such intense, numbing wonderful qualities. Although I would like to see another theme as its starting to all seem so similair, each piece is its own and wonderfully unique.
