Duel

by *~Lynzi~*   Dec 25, 2005

Today is the day
the day I challenge thy
sly cruel monster to a duel.
Thy shall run, thy shall hide.
Thy must know he's going to be torn from his pride.
Thy shall be torn from flesh leaving thy monster with no insides.
I'm now taking a long stride.
Long and merciless I'll be.
Thy shall never overtake me.
My fierce blows, thus will sting like venom.

All your courageous stands will not be enough.
You will never overtake me.
I have the wisdom of a god.
Thy of which you'll never encounter.
Tonight I will stand on my own.
Embarking on this journey, yet all alone, I will leave my mark in society.
Thy will reclaim all that is own to thy dear soul.

Tonight I will lay all evil to rest.
I shall now regain my strength to live yet again.
Without having to go to sleep every night, praying, tomorrow will not bring strife.
