Little Girl

by Katlynn   Dec 25, 2005

No one cared, no one known.
she lived her life like a lie.
she lived it like a fantasy outside.
but inside in her house.
she wanted to get out.
she couldn't begin to shout.
she wasn't aloud to do anything.
her mom was addicted to drugs.
her dad was dead from drinking.

she would go in her room.
wishing this would end.
wishing this would never happen.
mom would tell her that she was the one who made dad die.
mom would tell her stories like that.

she went to school.
wondering if anyone would see.
the scare tissues on her arms.
but no one seemed to look.
no one seemed to help.

she would sit there and write.
write forever until class was over.
she would write to god.
to have god help her.
but no answers will be questioned.

one night , one day.
she never made it to school.
she never made it out of her sleep.
her mom got tired of her.
mom killed her inside and out.
told her she was useless.
didn't want to see her face anymore.

so she shut the door.
locked it up.
the only and last thing you hear.
is a little girl screaming
