My Everything

by Rich   Dec 26, 2005

What good is my life, if you weren't here?
I'd be a child in the dark, crying of fear.
What if our love wasn't meant to be?
Would I be alive, happy, and free?
I can't imagine, my life without you.
It'd be like a sickness, such as the flu.
I'd be at home all day, no energy to rise.
Decaying slowly, awaiting demise.
Losing you from my life, is like losing my soul.
I'd merely be a puppet, with no real control.
A car with four wheels, but nothing to steer.
A life without direction, the future, unclear.
There is only one thing, that I know from my heart.
It's that you are my everything, my life from the start.
