Doll Girl

by Phoenixgoddess   Dec 27, 2005

All her past throughout her years,
Finally made her break in tears.
Her trust in people that she met,
Only made her friends,future threats.
As she lays all broken,
Made her words, once again unspoken.

(Chorus)
As she ponders on her life,
She only wanted to feel alive,
As she lays,my doll girl slowly dies,
She wishes someone was at her side.

Her plastered smile finally chipped away,
Made this doll girl's time wasted day by day.
She wanted to be herself,
Locked away in her inside cell.
Black tears streaming like miniature spawns,
Made her eyes blood red with crimson.

(Chorus)
As she ponders on her life,
She only wanted to feel alive,
As she lays, my doll girl slowly dies,
She wishes someone was at her side.

Doll girl's arms all full of scars,
Made her think of how people are.
Her pale skinned wrists all covered in blood,
Made my doll girl stand to her feet as she should.
Regretting slitting her wrists,
She thought of what she'd miss.
As she stands, she looks in the mirror,
Seeing her reflection, she should have known much better.

(Chorus)
As she ponders on her life,
She only wanted to feel alive.
With a crooked smile on her face,
Doll girl knew she could never be replaced.
Being herself would make her fully alive,
She would barely even be despised.
As my doll girl stands in one piece,
She feels her old self take its leave.
