Dancing On The Edge Of A Razor Blade

by Raychel   Dec 27, 2005

Dancing on the edge of a razor blade,
I find my troubles put to rest,
Walking on the blade of a knife,
It sees to it that for another second I can rest.

Snipping with a pair of scissors,
I can watch the blood drip down,
Slicing away at my flesh,
I watch the pools swirl around.

Sitting alone with my only true friends,
The ones that seem to make my troubles disappear,
I feel the need to cut once more,
Just to be sure I have no more fear.

I feel so relieved for a little bit,
They have done their duties.
But he calls once again,
Why is the world so cruel to me?

My friends scream my name silently to end it all,
To leave my body for him to find,
To get the guilt off of my chest,
To get the problems out of my mind.

~this poem was written while i was at my friend Heidi's and i was just thinking about cutting. luckily enough i havent cut in over 4 months. ^_^ so leave a comment plz~
