1 mississippi

by ATLbabe   Dec 28, 2005

No one ever knew the pain she held inside
little did they know that what they said made her want to die
what caused them laughter made her cry
alas one day when she was walking home from school
she thought over her life and what she thought she should do
shame was taking over and what was once a walk turned into a run
she took one look back and said goodbye
ran upstairs and grabbed a knife
one Mississippi two Mississippi three Mississippi four
it wasn't to long before she fell to the floor
a couple hours later her mother found her cold and dead
as she dialed 911 she discovered a letter upon her bed
dig my grave and dig it deep
for now my soul will rest in peace
no more cries hurt or pain
no more wishing death everyday
i have learned a lesson in the thirteen years of my life
you can solve all your problems with the cut of a knife
