Forest of despair

by Sarah   Dec 29, 2005

Laying on the the rotting winter leaves
the tears I'm crying, shoulders heave
my very soul has been stripped bare
for there is nothing left to care
my eyes look out through clouded tears
now come to life my silent fears
the woods around me, cold and grey
my heart will some day find a way
I'll find a place where i belong
and through me God may sing his song

Beautiful work, phrasing and rhyme. Your meaning is pure, and intentions noble. 5/5 keep it up! -MC-
