For My Big Brother

A day in my life I will never forget
Your life was taken, so was hers
As soon as you died, my faith did for sure.

I never did say goodbye
You were so young, you shouldn't have died.
18 years old is not the age
For God to take someone away.

I pray everynight for God to forgive me.
That way I can go to Heaven and it will be you that I see.
I hope God has told you all that I've asked him to say.
That I love you and I think of you everyday.

Everyday is another heartache and I pray to God that He eases my pain.
I want so bad to stop remembering the day,
That when you died, so did my faith.
