Untouched

Tenderness eloped my body
Your fingers traced my soul
Sunshine filled my every sense
And lit my heart of holes

Your eyes found nothing but sweet beauty
And saw all I never could
The world is singing all around me
Like I never thought it would

Never have I felt like this
Like my wings are now set free
And I could feel our every movement in time
Laying untouched until you touched me

Life is now like heavens laughter
With angel tears of warmth
I think I've finally found someone
Who I can love forever more

Tonight I'm here without you
And far away in mind
It's hard to believe my wings have been clipped
Fallen so hard and hoping to find

There are a lot of things I want to say
Like how I wish you only knew
That, just one time, one moment and just one chance
Is better than a life untouched by you
