Love is Forever*

Today is not just your birthday, its not just another day in the year.
God really knew what he was doing, when he put you here.
Nobody seems to understand the feelings I have for you.
And when i say I will love you forever, I really am being true.
Love can be so confusing, and sometimes that word is not enough.
To put up with all this drama, it really is tough.
Some people say we should not be together, that is what they say.
But they do not know what we feel in our hearts, everything will be ok.
I know this might sound crazy, but I think we are meant to be.
You called me on the phone that day, I think it was destiny.
Why can't people be happy for us, and realize that we are one.
Because now that I have found true love, my life has just begun.
You make me laugh all the time, when I dont even want to smile.
You make my boring days seem fun, and make my life worth while.
You wipe my tears from my eyes, before they hit the ground.
There is this feeling that I always get, when you are around.
Just the things that I see, when I look in your eyes.
Because we are in love, time really flies.
I have tried looking for a word, to describe how I feel.
So I get out a piece of paper, so my feelings I can spill.
When I am done writing, I look at what I wrote.
NO, that word is not good enough, so I grab white out, and put the first coat.
But I end up using the whole bottle, because there was so much ink.
It said "i love him" a million times, inside of a big heart colored pink.
I ran up to my room, and quickly slamed the door.
Then I realized one thing, Forever was the word I have been looking for.
Forever we will laugh, and share all of our dreams.
Forever we will be together, and prove what love really means.
Forever, I will think of you when everything else goes wrong.
Forever I will think of you everytime I hear a love song.
Forever we will build up memories, that I will never forget.
Forever is a long time, thats the one thing I will admit.
But Forever is what I want, to spend Forever by your side.
And forever, as we live together, my feelings I will not hide.
