Blackness surrounds and dominates
Disoriented and confused
I lay in the darkness
Shrouded in the unknown
Only moments ago
I had lived
Smelt the scent of red
And tasted the vibrant sunrise
Now cut off from the source
Of light which gives life to all
From within

Each beat completes the next
And each beat gives into the one before it
I feel the warmth of life

My eyes open to see
A sky lit be celestial light
The moonlight illuminating the mist
The transparent clouds
Amplifying the light so I might see my way
The constellations in the sky
Tell their stories to me
One by one
I see the tears of the sky fall
Start to fall all around
And as the sky begins to cry
I stand up
A barren sky
All I can see is
Purple and blue
Through the mist and confusion
Of my mind
I see
A fine line
Dividing the sky from the earth
Drenched from the rain
My soul is cold
My skin as pale as the moon
From the line
I see
The waters reflecting
Light
In the midst of this darkness
My eyes open
Craving the light
In astonishing brilliance
The disk of light
Conquers the line
Wounding the sky
As the sky bleeds
Symphonies of colors
Red pink yellow
The moon is drowned out
The children of the moon stop their mourning
And hide from the sun
Replaced by the magnificent blue
As the sun rises up
Replacing darkness with light
Black with blue
Death with life
I am drawn
To the sun
Accelerated
To wards the light
I am enveloped
Light reviving my soul
Light rejuvenates and heals
I am placed in the sky
And given the power of light
To guide the walkers of the night
Toward the brilliance of the disk
From my eyes
A blissful white light
Shines upon the world of night
As I see one of the fallen
Rise up
And gaze at the sky
