Daddy, You Werent There.

by xGreenHeartx   Jan 3, 2006

Where were you the time I was born
You werent crippled tired or worn
You were out day and night
You left me and mommy with depression and fright

Where were you when I turned three
You were out not caring for me
You left mommy and me alone
To pay the bills and to pay the loan

Where were you when things went bad
You hurt me, you werent my dad
I thought you were my hero but never knew
That you were a drunk and I thought I loved you

Keep on writing from your heart... the more you do the more you'll find that the words will begin to write themselves. Your young but you have serious potential... just write from the heart and you'll get better everyday!

    Take care,
    Richard
