An Aperture for Misfortune

by evangeline   Jan 3, 2006

The resurrection of my derilection
Begins again today
The reason turns to treason
Lost in another day

A new dawn falls drawn
On the open face of day
Glacing taste without trace
Turning rapture to dismay

Eruption of my core reduction
All gore amassed in gloss
The shining glaze of haunted days
Twirls intended to give toss

Fateful draw denies most all
Of my tasteless cries
Ignoring the aperture for more
Heartfelt despair and lies

The new day turns cold and gray
Gloriously pleasant dreams denied
Lost in the dead taste bred
From days gone from worse to bad
