My Master had Healed my Woe

by evangeline   Dec 28, 2005

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
I heard my master say
Upon my heart these words sprung forth
This sunny summer day

Come unto me all weary and torn
Come to me He says
Come to me you tired and weak
And I will give you rest

Your tears I hear
With prayers so dear
I cry with you
My child
Don't be afraid, I am here
Neither be thou dismayed
My arms I open for you

Now rest your heart and only wait
I'll give you all your dreams
And be your refuge, rear guard
I give you all these things

And peace struck deep into my heart
My soul at once did sing

My master had healed my woe.

From this poem I take it that you are religious and most likely Christian. I am too so I did like this poem, it was uplifting and peaceful.
