Walking Through My Memories

by brittany   Jan 4, 2006

Collab. by me and Nada. :) it was fun writing it

Walking through the Kumquat,
Remembering the day so well,
It was the time of the Kwanzaa,
When I first knew the word love

You changed my life,
How should I know you'd destroy it as fast?
I loved you so much,
Now in tears, you've broken my heart

Now I sit outside with nothing but the
Owls and frogs to keep me company
I finally decide to go inside I take the
Escalator up to the rucksack

I sit down and have a hamburger with
Cheese and a bowl of fruit loops with a
Banana and remember what we used to have

Looking at the fruit loops,
Each color representing a different stage,
Our relationship,
Vaporized into nothing but a memory.

You broke my heart,
With those harsh accusation,
How could you believe Ill betray you?
Cant you see I love you?

I always loved you I stayed
True to you and you believed
All lies and roomers that
They told you I told you that
They werent true but you
Broke my heart
And said its over

Baby how can it
Be over when I still
Love you so?
I know I shouldnt
Love you still
I should hate and
Despise you for what you
Did to me,
But I just cant
Me still love you

For you, I walked on water,
Reached for the highest star,
Just to give you what you want,
And give you all you need.

Baby, how can you do this to me?
Baby, werent we meant for each other?
But youre just like the rest of them,
And I'm just like the rest of the victims.

Im just like the rest of them
I believed all the lies you told me
I even believed you when you told
Me that you loved me,
And that you would do anything
For me.

And in believing you I
Gave you the world
I gave you my heart and soul
I gave you all of me.
And so much more.
And in return I got nothing.
I got my heart ripped out
All that I believed was turn
Is now gone.
Our love was nothing but a lie.
How will I ever learn to trust
Anyone again?
