Make it another day

Look at this girl
lost in a sad world
watching the time spin slowly
there is no life left in her
she sees death as an adventure
she just can't reach it yet

people say no
but then they have to go
she sits alone
sharp objects around her
she cries to sleep
holding on to a little stuffed toy
hoping it will give her strength

look at her now
she couldn't take it anymore
she ran from her room
hit the bathroom floor
grabbing a razor
slicing at her wrist
watching blood trickle down

her pain is gone for now
just wait until her friends find her
bleeding wrist
long sleeves hiding her mistakes
which weren't mistakes to her
she can make it another day
