The Unknown

by bivamp   Jan 4, 2006

Through a child's eyes the world is black and white,
but then when you learn to care it becomes many shades of grey.

simplicity seems like just a distant memory,
complications are all that appear before you,
vision becomes hazy,
simple thoughts become angry whispers.

simple childhood dreams are crushed by the fear of reality,
an unknown future creeps dangerously towards you.
