Motives Of War

by N.M.Sanden   Jan 5, 2006

The light glittered brightly
Off the knights armor
While his face was covered
By his blood covered helm

Cheers erupted from every corner
From the young and old alike
They knew of the triumph
On the great battlefront

The knight was all but happy
Knowing what he had done
Ending hundreds of lives
Of some very noble men

It was a victory for the Crown
But he will be forever scarred
Why did he fight this battle
For what he did not believe?
