My friend Sally

by Brandi Simmons   Jan 5, 2006

There's this girl named Sally that I know quite well,

We happen to work at the same motel.

I met her a couple months back

When the friendship between us did lack.

I remember the first words that were ever said

And if she ever makes a comment about me being related to Richard she will be dead.

She tells me that I am four foot thirteen,

But her sideburns, they are quite obscene.

There's just this bond between us that started to grow

And this girl named Sally I got to know.

Out of no where Ashley and I started to scheme

And in Hagarstown we made a big scene.

The yard was trashed, there was shit everywhere,

But honestly, no one did care.

Sally's high pitched voice is quite annoying,

So we got her some patches to fix the noise.

In return I got this box full of unmentionables,

But the thought that counts is what made it so loveable.

The bond between us keeps on growing,

And more and more does the caring start showing.

Now Sally's not afraid to give me a hug,

Nor is she afraid to tell me I'm loved.

This Sally girl, she's pretty cool

And for you to not think that would make you a fool.

She is very caring and has a huge heart

She lets everyone in her life and lets them all play a part.

Now I've grown to love Sally as if she were my sister,

This bond between us couldn't have formed any quicker.

Sally means a lot to me and has a special place in my heart,

I will hold onto this forever and hope we never part.
