Bloodied Angel

A simple angle
Up in the sky
Watching from heaven
Lets out a sad sigh
She has fallen in love
For a man on earth
And she has watched over him
Ever since his birth
Oh what she would do
To be in his arms
To have him love her back
Protecting her from harms
She no longer wants heaven
She would rather die again
So she gets out a knife and tells herself
You have to end to begin
She slices at her wings
And it brings her to tears
Raindrops from the sky
She has not felt pain in years
Her wings fall to the ground
Her halo goes dim
But that doesnâ??t matter
Soon she will be with him
She falls to earth
Crying the entire way
He rushes to her
And doesnâ??t know what to say
Sheâ??s so lovely
But a great mess
He carries her home
Blood running off her dress
She dies in his arms
Her backs now a bloody mangle
And he sits there and cries
Over his bloodied angel
