Why Me Again?

He breaks my heart
Again and again
But he starts out great
Each time we begin.

He says that he loves me
And marriage will come
Then returns to her
Leaving me feeling dumb.

I smile and be happy
Pretending for them
Because as far as they know
I don't want him.

The words that I say
Tell them all I don't care
Yet the words I am thinking
Are about love still there.

He was a friend
Doing what friends were for
But I guess I thought
We'd always be more.

    U can do better than this! i have read like all ur poems, as u prob see from my comments...and i have seen better ones! but i have a few like this that are just made up wen ur left speechless! hard 2 put words into a poem and make good sense! u r an amazing writter and have a gift!...that i want!...waaa
