My advice

At one time you were my best friend
And that you will always deep down be
But we're growing up and growing apart
So here is a final piece of advice from me

I hope you find a good one
And live forever with the man of your dreams
And look for beauty in every moment
As difficult as it may sometimes seem

Remember the long talks we had
On the swings and on our walks
Don't get discouraged by boys or teachers
Or fake friends that are nothing but talk

Make sure you see hope in a crying newborn
And peace in a rushing stream
Notice the awe in a violent thunderstorm
And the satisfaction of fulfilling a dream

All I'm asking is remember me
On the journey to fulfill your every day
And if you ever need me always remember
I'm never more than a phone call away.

    This is definatley my favorite recnt friendship poems..OMG! I mean...Words will not express how much I love this poem..that Stanza above ^^^^^ THAT WAS AMAZING!!! My Mouth dropped..literally..amazing!!! This friend is making a mistake walking away from you.....you started off with a very strong stanza and ended even stronger!!! BRAVO! AMAZING

    Wow, its so weird, because i feel the same way about my old best friend. even though were not relly friends anymore, i still wish her happiness with everything. this poem is so good and it really touched me. keep up the good work an dkepp on writting, because your very good at it!
