The Man

by Saliva t i o n x   Jan 7, 2006

You tore the man away from everything
And claimed him as your own
We loved him for the man he was
And you ripped him away from home

You took the man and cheated him
Like he was some kind of toy
You destroyed the man he once was
The man is no longer a boy

Take him off the leash you have
Because it does not do any good
The man began to lie and cheat
Way more than he should

The man had such a beautiful soul
Before you came along
You thought the man was into you
But you were terribly wrong

You bribed his soul to get revenge
What did we ever do to you?
You dirty s l u t you need a life.
To me you're like the stomach flu.

All he wants is drugs and thrills
You took him from his dreams
The man had a wonderful life
And you tore them from the seams

You make me want to vomit
For what you've done to the man
I could not save him from himself
I've done all I really can

The man was a wonder to be told
A mystery of god himself
But you tore him away from everything
And left him on a dusty shelf.

* I suppose it's about a guy who falls in love with this really bad girl I suppose and she gets him into all this stuff and then she leaves him and now he can't get out of the hole she helped him dig. Not sure. :/ *
